A DOUBLE-GLAZING salesman who called a diabetic pensioner with heart problems to "Go out in your vegetable patch and die" has been sacked.
Twenty two-year-old salesman Layten Grafton was sacked after the outburst from his job with New Look Home Improvements based in Stockton-on-Tees.
He subjected Christopher Sturgeon, 68, was subjected to a tirade of abuse after he cancelled a £4,500 contract for new windows.
The sick pensioner, who had a triple heart bypass, was called a "decrepit, yellow-toothed, stringy-haired old git".
Mr Grafton had called Mr Sturgeon at his home in Kielder Drive, Darlington, County Durham after the pensioner found a cheaper quote from a rival firm.
