Willington League - Last season's champions, the Victoria Club crashed to their second defeat when they only took three points from the visiting Prospect Club.
Only Bob Hall managed to take a singles point for the Victoria, whilst the Prospect had points from John Peacock, Trevor Allchurch, John Glasper, Paul Morris and Neil Foster. Ian Mavin and Bob Hall took the first doubles for the Victoria but then Trevor Bourne and John Glasper took the second and Neil Foster and Paul Morris the third for the Prospect, who added the team game. The Victoria took their third point when Ian Mavin beat Paul Morris in the captain's game. This victory gives the Prospect a share of the top spot with Hunwick Quarry Burn, who only dropped one point at Sunybrow Brown Trout.

Crook Ladies League
Crook Coach and Horses just failed to make it three maximum victories in a row when they dropped one point at Tow Law New Market A but they remain 19 points clear at the top of the table with an unbeaten record. Tow Law New Market B moved into second place two points ahead of Crook Queen's Head, who have a point advantage over Tow Law Black Horse.

Tow Law Bass
Esh Stag's Head moved ten points clear at the top of the table after they only dropped two points on their visit to Esh Football Club. The home side had singles wins from Robert Hird and Dave Parkinson, whilst Keith Robson, Dave Metcalfe, Tom March and John Hodgson won for the visitors, who added the two trebles and the three doubles points.
Newhouse Club are six points adrift following their five points win at Sunniside Comedian, whilst Hamilton Row Black Horse are in third spot, a further six points adrift.
Leading individual scorers: S. Close 180 (Royal Oak), T. McQuillan 180, D. Thornton two 140s (Newhouse), C. Boughey 141 (Cattle Mart), S. Wilkie, A. Brown 140 each (Esh Football Club), A. Atkinson three 140s, J. Parkin two 140s (New Market A) G. Hope 140 (Station).
The best starts came from A. Suddes of the Rose and Crown and C. Howcroft of the New Market A with 120 each, whilst A. Atkinson made the best check-out with 150 for the New Market A.
