SHOPPERS are being offered the opportunity to fine-tune their golfing prowess at a forthcoming masterclass.
The indoor event will take place in the Town Square, at Gateshead's MetroCentre, on Monday, and is free.
Coaching sessions will take place from 10am to 8pm and will be led by county coach Alan Hartley. Beginners will be able to join group classes led by golf pro Chris Jones.
The masterclass is being run in association with Roseberry Grange Golf Academy, near Chester-le-Street, Callaway club manufacturers and Goldsmith's jewellers
