A MAJOR exhibition promoting the importance of higher education to industry will be held on Teesside.
Cleveland College of Art and Design and Teesside University aim to highlight the wide range of subjects they offer, from the more traditional fine arts to newer dot com courses and e-commerce, at Teesmade 2001.
They hope to stimulate entrepreneurial activity and further develop links with industry and commerce through a series of events, to which major employers from the region and beyond have been invited.
The main exhibition will be staged at a prestigious venue in central Middlesbrough and will include static displays, contemporary art and design work, three dimensional products, multimedia and live fashion and theatre costume shows.
It will take place from November 21 to 30, and local schools, colleges and communities will be encouraged to visit.
