A FIRM of solicitors has raised more than £4,000 for charity.
Staff at Latimer Hinks, in Darlington, raised the money by holding a charity ball at the Headlam Hall Hotel attended by more than 100 people.
The money will be shared between the Darlington branch of Cruse Bereavement Care and the local branch of the Alzheimer's Society.
Tim Haggie, senior partner at Latimer Hinks, said: "Everyone who attended the ball had a fantastic time and it was a very enjoyable way to raise a lot of money for two very worthwhile charities.
"I would like to thank everyone who came along and all the local businesses who contributed so generously with raffle prizes and donations on the night.
