CHURCHES in Darlington are joining forces to hold a festival of faith.
A total of 18 places of worship of various denominations will be taking part in the Festival of Faith Through Flowers event on Saturday and Sunday.
The festival, which forms part of the Civic Trust Heritage Open Days, will be held at Grange Road Baptist Church between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, and 2pm and 4pm on Sunday.
The Heritage Open Days will run from Friday until the following Monday, giving the public a chance to tour some of the town's historic buildings free of charge.
Admission to the church festival will be free, but any proceeds from the event will go to the Bible Society.
