A MAN who gate-crashed an 18th birthday party and danced naked was jailed for two years yesterday.
Stephen Young, 19, stripped in a Teesside club and danced to the music, shocking women and children.
Shaun Dodds, prosecuting, told Teesside Crown Court that Young was also seen balancing a tray of seafood on his head.
He was involved in a scuffle with another man and they were ejected from the Rovers Quoits Club, in Hartlepool.
Steven Parkinson, 38, followed them into Grainger Street and told Young: "You have spoiled the party, so it would be best if you go."
Mr Dodds said that the next thing Mr Parkinson recalled was waking up in Hartlepool General Hospital.
Sharon Hodgson, a party guest, saw Young punch him in the face, knocking him out, before jumping on his head.
Mr Parkinson was transferred to Middlesbrough General Hospital. He had a broken cheekbone and needed a metal plate inserted to reposition the bone.
Robin Denny, mitigating, said Young came from a decent family and had shown genuine remorse.
Young, of Westbourne Road, Hartlepool, was sentenced to two years in youth custody, after he pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent, on September 8 last year.
