Willington League - Tony Atkinson of Willington Football Club became the League Singles Champion when he beat Tony Leighton of Oakenshaw Club 2-1 in the Final played at the Prospect Club.
In the semi-finals Atkinson beat Dale Wilson of Oakenshaw Club, whilst Leighton beat John Bolam of Willington Brewer's Droop.
In the Final of the League Doubles Championship Paul Williams and Alan Lee senior beat Nevilles Ridley and Tommy Parkin of Willington Black Horse Tavern.

Durham County Super League
Ithe top match of the week leaders Crook B entertained Ferryhill. After ten frames the match was all-square then Crook showed their strength in depth by winning the last four frames to win the match 9-5. This result puts Ferryhill 15 points behind Crook with a game in hand, so they will have to get good results in their remaining four fixtures, of which they have the three sides at the foot of the table to play, to stand any chance of winning the title.
Winners for Crook B with two wins were Cliffy Owens and David Stephenson, one win each for Darren Tinkler, John Warriner, Les Scott, Gavin Witton and Peter Sampson. Ferryhill replied with wins from Ronnie McAloon, Chris Murray, Simon Corbridge, Martin Short and Steven Wray.
Shildon's hopes of winning the title were dented when they visited Aycliffe and could only manage a 7-7 draw coming from 4-1 down. Winners for Aycliffe with two wins were Ross Killip and Dave Bromley. One win each for Graham Isaac, Eddie Mackay and Richie Bellwood. Shildon had two wins from Martin Taylor and Paul Armstrong, one win each for Dominic Hannon, Davey Waites and Kevin Watson.
Durham entertained Crook A and won the match 9-5 to keep their hopes of winning the title alive.
Durham are 15 points behind Crook B and have two games in hand but have the hardest run-in with games against Shildon, Ferryhill, Bishop A and their final match which will probably decide the title against Crook B.
Bishop Auckland League
Spennymoor Ashtree lost vital ground in the Championship race when they lost by the odd point in the derby match at Spennymoor Hillingdon. Crook Olde Horse Shoe lead the table by 18 points from Bishop Auckland Derby with the Ashtree in third place 11 points adrift of the Derby but with a match in hand. Bishop Auckland King's Head are two points behind the Ashtree.
The Hillingdon had two singles points from Baz Walton and Mark Frizzell with Stephen Graham and Ian Smith adding one each, whilst the Ashtree had two points from Chris Bowran and one each from Paul Biddle and Tony Biddle. The Hillingdon clinched victory in the doubles when Ian Smith and Mark Frizzell won, whilst the Ashtree made the scoreline respectable when their captain, Paul Biddle beat Baz Walton in both captain's games.
Crook Olde Horse Shoe had two points from Gavin Witton and one each from Gerald Parkin, Steve Hunter, Stephen Liddle and Cliff Owens, whilst the visiting Bishop Auckland Football Club had one point each from Russell Place, Craig Lumley, Danny Parker and Lee Taylor. Richard Walker and Cliff Owens took the doubles for the Shoe before Gavin Witton and Lee Taylor shared the captain's points.

Tow Law League
Ithe top of the table clash at Tow Law Black Horse A, the leaders, Tow Law Station extended their lead at the top to 16 points with their odd point success. Howard Spoors and David Craggs were the only singles winners for the Horse whilst the Station's points came from Andrew Burrows, Shaun Umpelby, Stephen Turner and Malcolm Umpelby. Tow Law New Market B are in third place, four points adrift of the Black Horse but with a match in hand. The ladies team from Tow Law Black Horse B looked to be on course for a possible second win when they ended the singles all square at Tow Law Cattle Mart. The Mart had wins from Alan Ogilvie, Wayne Tennant and Stephen Boughey with Chris Suddes, Sylvia Goodall and Angela Armstrong replying. However things then went wrong for the visitors as they lost all three doubles points.

Crook League
The finalists in the League Singles Championships are Gavin Witton from Crook Olde Horse Shoe and Adam Martin from Crook Coach and Horses. The Doubles finalists are Ian Bibby and Alan Saville from Crook Mill House and Brian Johnson and Gavin Witton from Crook Olde Horse Shoe.
The Final of the Three Man event will be between Crook Travellers Rest A (Colin Howe, Scott Weston, Stephen Todd and Tony Storey) and Crook Olde Horse Shoe A (Cliff Owens, Dave Walker, Stephen Liddle and Richard Walker).
