Police have arrested another man in connection with the death of Freddie Knights in Longbenton, Newcastle, on September 28 last year.
The man, who has not been named, was arrested in Sedbergh, Cumbria, after an armed siege and taken to a police station in Northumberland to be interviewed.
Six other people were arrested at same time in connection with assisting an offender and were also being interviewed last night.
Five men have already been charged with conspiracy to murder Mr Knights, who was gunned down outside his mother's home.
