HISTORIC sites and unusual buildings in Darlington are opening their doors to the public from today.
The Heritage Open Days are being held as part of a national initiative.
Sites including the Grange Road Baptist Church, Darlington Arts Centre and Mowden Hall will be open, free of charge to the public until Monday.
Visitors will also get a unique behind the scenes look at places such as the town hall.
Some of the trips must be pre-booked before noon today but others are open to anyone who wants to turn up during the weekend.
