YOUNGSTERS are being given a helping hand with their homework thanks to special sessions taking place at Stockton Central Library.
The sessions run from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, starting from this Wednesday, when a dedicated children's librarian will be available to offer help and advice with homework and study support.
Tony Quantrill, children and young services officer for Stockton Borough Council, said: "Our homework help sessions have always proved popular in the past and we hope that even more youngsters will come along this term to take advantage of the support and advice we can offer them."
Children and young people of all ages are welcome to attend and the sessions include free Internet access and the use of a wide range of facilities.
Admission to the sessions is free and there is no need to book a place.
