A NORTH-EAST travel company is taking to the road to attract recruits as it prepares to expand.
Freedom Direct, the largest independent UK travel agent selling deals on Teletext, has four call centres in Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham City.
After a good trading year and with turnover set to top £30m in 2001, the firm needs to recruit more than 100 staff.
The Freedom Lovebug will be seen around the region during the coming weeks, distributing recruitment flyers.
Most of the recruits will be housed in the new head office on Newcastle's Quayside.
