TWO cyber cafes are to share a £10,000 grant.
Sedgefield Borough Council planned to give the money to its leisure services department to set up a cyber cafe at Shildon's Sunnydale Leisure Centre.
But half the money will be used to help create a cyber cafe in Ferryhill, in conjunction with Durham county and Ferryhill town councils. It will involve a shop conversion costing more than £100,000.
Money for the Shildon project will be sought from the Shildon Single Regeneration Budget and Prince's Trust.
