FOUR more houses in Newton Aycliffe are to be added to a demolition programme.
Sedgefield Borough Council has already scheduled 66 properties and 66 garages for demolition in the next year.
Most of them are in the west end of Newton Aycliffe, although about a dozen are in Ferryhill.
The council has identified four one-bedroom bungalows, three in Aldfred Place and one in Brockett Close, to be included in its Empty Property Strategy. Three are vacant and the tenant in the fourth has requested alternative accommodation.
The plan will be discussed by the council's cabinet on Thursday
