WORKMAN Stuart Briggs pops up for a breather, above, while undertaking the task of relaying cobbles in Guisborough High Street. He is part of a team from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, which this week began the next phase of giving the town a new look. After a break during the summer, the council restarted work on a £500,000 scheme to relay some 73,000 cobbles in the town - a task which started on St Valentine's Day last year. The council hopes to keep disruption to a minimum and has thanked businesses and residents for their cooperation. Picture: MIKE GIBB
