ENTRIES are still being accepted for a transport rally on Sunday, October 7, at the Timothy Hackworth Victorian and Railway Museum, in Shildon.
Already in the programme are a 1950-built Allard, a 1937 Austin 7, Jowett cars from the 1950s, a 1948 Jowett van and a number of stationary engines, tractors and other forms of transport.
The West Somerset Railway, in Taunton, and the London and North Western Railway Society are sending exhibition and sales stands. Space is available for other displays.
Overnight camping is available and meals can be booked at the nearby Flag and Whistle.
Organisers hope to attract more exhibitors than the 200 who turned up last year. For details, contact the museum on (01388) 777999 between 10am and 4.30pm Wednesday to Sunday.
