HARTLEPOOL United will this afternoon hand Middlesbrough winger Anthony Ormerod an opporunity to impress.
The 21-year-old spent last week on trial at First Division Grimsby and will play for Pool's second string against Notts County. Reserve boss Colin West said: "We're having a look at Anthony over a two game trial.
"It's another example of co-operation between Steve McLaren and ourselves. The other week we played a private friendly game which helped both clubs."
Teesside-born Ormerod has made 19 appearances for Boro, netting three times and has also been on loan at Carlisle and York.
Paul Arnison is fit after a calf strain and will join Martin Hollun, Jermaine Easter and Gordon Simms in the game at Seaham.
