THREE Green Howards soldiers are returning home to help with recruitment.
Lance Corporals Craig Helm from Marske, Leigh Ellicker, 27, of Guisborough and John Swithenbank, from Redcar, are part of a team of recruiters visiting various locations across Teesside, east Cleveland and North Yorkshire.
Their mission is to tell youngsters about life in uniform.
LCpl Helm, 26, was a student at Bydales School and has been in the 1st Battalion, the Green Howards for five years. He has served in Bosnia, Canada, Poland, Germany and France.
LCpl Ellicker, 27, attended Whitby Community College. He has been in the Green Howards for nine years.
He has represented the battalion at football, and served in Bosnia, Germany, France, Canada, Poland and Oman.
LCpl Swithenbank, 22 went to Ryehills School. In the battalion for six years, he has served in Bosnia, Canada, Poland, Germany and France, and has just completed an anti-tank section commander's course.
