A YOUNG Manchester United fan's football skills have won him a trip to see his heroes play in a Premiership game for the second year in a row.
Patrick Crewe, from Hurworth, near Darlington, finished top in a summer soccer school at Hurworth House school last year, which earned him a trip to United's Old Trafford stadium.
The ten-year-old took part in the competition again this year and his talents shone through once more.
Patrick beat 80 other children, aged eight to 16, who were awarded points for ball control skills.
His prize is a trip to see a Premiership match at Old Trafford, where he will compete against other regional winners in a skills test on the pitch before the game.
Last year, Patrick won a trip to the home game against Southampton and finished second in his age group in the skills test competition.
Patrick attends Red House School, Norton, where his father is a teacher.
His footballing talents have already been recognised by Middlesbrough Football Club, who have put him on the club's development list.
