YOUNG artists have turned their thoughts to crime to design a police website.
Dozens of pupils from Teesside sent their ideas for a children's section on the force website to Cleveland Police.
The winning design, by 13-year-old William Hodgson, of Conyers School, in Yarm, has earned him a £50 voucher and £250 for his school. Sarah Placzek, 15, who came second, has her logo Take a look inside our website - it's not a crime, featured on the finished product, which was officially unveiled yesterday.
Webmaster Andy Gray said: "We got more than 90 entries for the competition, which we believe is the first of its kind for a police website.
"It was open to any age group, and some of the work was of an extremely high standard. A lot of imagination was used, and it was difficult to pick a winner."
William's design includes games and a comic strip.
Abindgon Primary School will receive a special prize for its contributions to the competition.
