Khalil Thompson achieved a bronze medal in the 100m before tackling his best event the 1500m, the windy conditions made it difficult in the endurance events slowing down the runners, however, Khalil's strength, stamina and determination enabled him to hold onto a decent pace when others wilted, he won in a very respectable time of 5.06.0, extremely good in the circumstances.
