A POPULAR vintage vehicle event in east Cleveland is due to take to the streets of Saltburn this weekend.
It will be the ninth time Middlesbrough and District Motor Club has held its Vintage Spring Hill Climb in the town and this year's event is sponsored by Saltburn, Marske and New Marske Parish Council.
The event takes place on Sunday and timed runs start at 1pm from the Cat Nab car park, which will be doubling up as a paddock for the vehicles to be displayed. The race will finish just short of the Toll Bridge Cottage.
There will also be an exhibition on the history of the Saltburn and Redcar Speed Trials and record breaking events which used to take place on the beach.
Admission is free.
