CYCLING champion Steve Davies is on top form after winning a clutch of medals at the British National Track Championships in Manchester.
Davies, an account executive with BIB (Darlington) Ltd and a member of Ferryhill Wheelers, won gold in the 500m time trial and silver in four other events.
Hogan's Leisure directors John and David Wilson, who provided the new low-profile pursuit frame for use at the championships, have followed the local sporting hero's success for some time.
David Wilson said: "We have been clients of Steve's at BIB for a long time now and were very pleased to help him when the opportunity arose. He is one of the region's most successful cyclists and he did us all proud yet again."
Davies said: "I am very grateful for the help received from Hogan's Leisure. I was pleased with my medal tally and delighted to fly the flag for the region and bring home a gold."
