TWO public meetings have been organised to discuss proposals to improve a memorial park.
The meetings will be held in Quaking Houses and South Moor, both near Stanley, next week, when the results of a survey will be revealed.
The survey, by environmental charity Groundwork West Durham, asked residents what they wanted to see improved at South Moor Memorial Park.
Suggestions included footpath clearance, seating areas, art features and a multi-purpose ball court. A draft plan will be on display at each of the meetings.
The first meeting will be held between 7pm and 9pm on Tuesday, at Quaking Houses Village Hall, and the other on Wednesday, at South Moor Community Centre.
