TALKS on subjects as varied as golf and the life of a cleric are included in the new series of lectures arranged by the Richmondshire Museum.
Angus Goodfellow starts the season on Thursday, October 25, with an address on the Royal and Ancient Game of Golf, followed on Friday, November 30, by Dr Duncan Bythell, who speaks on Victorian Swaledale.
In the new year, Mike Wood takes his audience on a Magical Mystery Tour of Richmond and Swaledale on Friday, January 25, while Glennis Walton is booked on Friday, February 22, for a talk with the enigmatic title, What On Earth.
Vicar of Richmond's St Mary's Church, Canon Richard Cooper, closes the series on Thursday, March 21, with a speech about the Life of a Country Vicar.
All lectures will be held in the town hall and start at 7.30pm. Admission costs £2 and includes light refreshment.
