A NORTH-East woman will be drawing on her own experience when she spreads the word about training to youngsters across the region.
Victoria Jackson, 24, has been appointed schools and colleges co-ordinator with Durham-based Zodiac Training, only three months after joining the organisation as a training adviser.
She will be responsible for developing links with schools and colleges and raising pupils' awareness of the training opportunities available to them. Victoria, who lives in Hartlepool, has just completed her own Advanced Modern Apprenticeship, and will be able to draw on her own experience in her new job.
Karen Alexander, Zodiac Centre Manager, said: "This new position came up only a few weeks after Victoria joined us and although she was conscious of the fact that she hadn't been with us long, she decided to go for it.
"She was up against a number of external candidates but was so impressive that we had no hesitation in appointing her."
