A TEENAGE boy was beaten with a golf club after he refused to hand over money.
The attack happened at about 5.15pm on Thursday, at Walpole Street, Middlesbrough, near the junction with Warren Street.
When his male assailant demanded money, the 15-year-old victim stood firm, prompting a struggle between the pair.
The teenager suffered a large cut to his head when he was hit with a golf club, and was taken to Middlesbrough General Hospital for treatment.
