POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two young boys had their bikes snatched.
The two boys, aged 14, were cycling near the junction of the Trunk Road and Skippers Lane, South Bank, Middlesbrough, at 5pm on Friday, September 7, when they were approached by two youths.
One of the youths produced a pen knife and threatened the two boys into giving them the bikes. They then rode off on the machines in the direction of Middlesbrough.
The boys were not hurt but were left shocked by the incident.
The attackers are described as being in their late teens, slim, about 5ft 9in, both with dark, cropped hair.
One was wearing cream and blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and white trainers. The the other was wearing a blue Adidas tracksuit and white trainers.
