Sedgefield Players Youth Section opens the 26th Sedgefield Drama Festival of One Act Plays on Tuesday, September 25, at 7.30pm, in the parish hall, with Merry Regiment of Women, by Rae Shirley.
On the same evening, other members of the group, calling themselves the North Of Watford Theatre, will present I'm Still Here by society member Paul Baguley and Ben Smith.
On Wednesday, Saltburn 53 Society Youth Section will present Board Games, by Terry Wilkinson, followed by Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society in By The Half by Jimmie Chinn, and Centre Stage, of Shildon, with Curses, Foiled Again, by Evelyn Hood.
On Thursday, Sedgefield Players open the programme with the Art of Remembering by Adina L Ruskin.
Jimmie Chinn's But Yesterday will be performed by Cliff Theatre. Completing the week on Friday will be Sedgefield Players, with Me and My Friend (Act 1), by Gillian Plowman. The final play will be Matchstick Dreams, by Fiz Marcus, performed by Bedale and District Amateur Dramatic Society. Saturday night will see the final adjudication
