A FAMILY-RUN engineering company is continuing to expand with the opening of its new fabrication workshop.
North View Engineering on Darlington's Cleveland Industrial Estate was established in 1953 by businessman Harold Boggon.
The company is now run by two of his children Jonathan Boggon and Pat Hawes, together with co-director Paul Howard.
The new fabrication workshop, opened yesterday by North-East MEP Stephen Hughes, will allow North View to develop its client base further without affecting the service it provides for existing customers.
Pat Hawes said: "The skills of our workforce are growing constantly and this, combined with their flexibility and enthusiasm, has led us to be able to complete several long-term contracts on time and budget."
