INFORMATION is needed to help to trace a shoplifter who was caught in the act by security cameras.
The woman walked into the Co-op in Market Street, Ferryhill, on Sunday June 3.
The store's closed circuit television system recorded her selecting a number of items from the display shelves, place them into a basket and then walk from the store without attempting to pay.
She was described as female, white, between 5ft 1ins and 5ft 4ins tall, medium build and with short, blonde wavy hair, which was dyed with dark roots.
It is thought she was aged between 22 and 28 and was wearing a blue coloured Kappa tracksuit top and dark jeans.
