FOOTBALL-mad youngsters in Hartlepool are to be given an extra special treat.
Youngsters can watch their soccer heroes at Victoria Park for free, thanks to joint venture between Hartlepool Borough Council and Hartlepool United.
The School and Football Enterprise gives groups of youngsters the opportunity to watch Hartlepool's third division games from the family enclosure.
Groups of up to 20 children can take part in the scheme and the only requirement is that they must arrange their own transport and be adequately supervised.
Oliver Sherratt, the council's head of sport and recreation, said any community group is welcome to apply, including schools, guides, scouts and church organisations.
