Cwmni Ballet Gwent will be taking their contemporary version of Romeo and Juliet to Spennymoor Leisure Centre on Friday.
The Welsh company's performance has been sponsored by Northern Arts, which will also be bringing Mike Maran's production of Captain Corellis Mandolin to the Spennymoor stage.
The show was a sell-out at the Edinburgh Festival and will be arriving at the leisure centre on November 22.
Tickets can be booked in advance by ringing the centre on (01388) 815627 or will be available on the night
