A lecture on the ways in which the history of everyday life is presented to a 21st Century audience will take centre stage at a Teesside museum next week.
The lecture -We were poor but happy - will be given by museum academic Elizabeth Carnegie at Preston Hall Museum, Eaglescliffe, on Thursday September 27.
The lecture, which has been organised by the Teesside Branch of the Historical Association, begins in the museum's ballroom at 7.30pm. Admission is free.
