SUNDERLAND fan Jamie Kitto's dream of meeting his Premiership heroes is about to come true.
The ten-year-old, from Peterlee, has won the junior prize in the Wearside club's One of the Lads competition.
The season ticket holder has won the chance to watch a training session and meet Peter Reid's players.
He will lead the team out on to the pitch at the Stadium of Light as a mascot for a game and will also get the chance to be a ballboy.
The youngster, a member of the junior supporters' club SAFC 24-7, will get a year's free soccer courses from the club's coaching staff.
Jamie, a pupil at Our Lady of the Rosary Junior School, said: "I'm so excited to have won.
"All my friends are really jealous. I'm looking forward to meeting Nicholas Medina and the thing I most want to do is watch the players training.
"I can't believe I will get to do all this during the season."
The adult One of the Lads was a Big Brother-style competition, in which fans voted for seven contestants.
Colin Lynch, 29, of Jarrow, emerged as the winner earlier this week and has been given a shirt and squad number, 73.
He will attend training sessions, travel to matches on the team coach and get tickets to the players' lounge.
