A NORTH-EAST professor is due to be conferred with three honours.
Professor Phil Barker, a much-published author on psychiatry and psychotherapy, works in the Department of Psychiatry at Newcastle University.
On Friday, he will receive an Honorary Doctorate at the graduation ceremony, at Oxford Brookes University.
Next month, the National Psychiatric Nursing Research Network at Oxford launches a research award in Professor Barker's name.
And Homerton College at Cambridge will name a room in their new Faculty of Health in his honour.
