A UNIVERSITY'S new centre for criminal justice was opened yesterday by Home Office Minister Keith Bradley.
Mr Bradley spoke about the Government's approach to crime when he opened York University's centre for criminal justice, economics and psychology.
The centre, formed as a result of a partnership between the Home Office and York University, will look at ways to reduce the impact of crime on society.
And in the long term, it will also be aiming to develop research to improve understanding of criminal behaviour and will host courses for Home Office staff.
