A LUCKY five-year-old won three prizes in a draw at the Darlington fire station open day.
Jonathon O'Neil won two tickets to a Darlington FC game, ten visits to the Dolphin Centre swimming pool and a facial at Saks.
His mother, Clare, said: "We couldn't believe it. He is going to share the prizes. He and his dad, Gary, are going to the football, and he will share the swimming with his sister, Lucy, and I'm having the facial."
But the star prize of five firemen as slaves for a day was won by Carol Dennis, who plans to put them to good use by donating the prize to St Teresa's Hospice.
She said: "I've decided to donate it to St Teresa's Hospice.
"They have several ongoing projects, so they could be helping them out with a ball they are having, or a reflections garden they are setting up in the hospice grounds."
Other prizes included a meal voucher won by Tracy Cottam, a store voucher won by Karen Chandler, and ten visits to the Dolphin Centre's fitness suite, won by Julie Baines.
The lucky programme was 335. The person with the winning number can contact the station to claim the video recorder prize.
A total of £1,145 was raised for the Fire Services Benevolent Fund and £1,307 for dependents of families of the New York firefighters killed in the terrorist attacks on the city.
