A CHARITY to help needy children across Teesside has gone mobile thanks to the generosity of Vauxhall retailers in the area.
Radio stations 96.6 tfm and Magic 1170, based in Thornaby, have launched the charity, Make A Child Smile.
The charity will focus on children who are deprived and underprivileged, abused and forgotten, or who are ill and in need.
It is supported by Vauxhall retailers on Teesside and yesterday, to show their support, a Vauxhall Zafira was handed over to the charity.
The six-seater people carrier will be used at fundraising events promoting the charity and will help raise awareness of other children's charities across the region.
Anyone wishing to get involved and help the charity is asked to contact Heather Bundzenieks on (01642) 888222.
