PUB regulars are saddling up for a night at the races to raise money for a children's charity.
Landlady Sharron Ellison is holding a race night at The Clarence, in Wheelgate, Malton, to boost funds for the Children's Adventure Farm Trust.
Miss Ellison, who is the daughter of Ryedale racehorse trainer Brian Ellison, said: "If this is a success I hope to have race nights more regularly.
"I love children and my family has a strong background with horses so it's an ideal night for me to organise."
The Children's Adventure Farm Trust is a national charity offering breaks in the countryside to disadvantaged youngsters.
All the money which is gambled on the night next Friday, goes to the charity. Admission is free
