SUPER swimmer Natalie Routledge has completed the whole of Middlesbrough Borough Council's Aqualink swimming lesson scheme - and she is only seven years old.
Natalie, a pupil at Green Lane School, had to complete water skill awards, personal survival awards and swim a mile.
To mark her achievement, staff at the Rainbow Centre will present her with a swimming pack including swimming hat and goggles, swimming vouchers and an ultimate swimmer certificate.
The Aqualink scheme aims to develop children's swimming abilities in a fun and friendly atmosphere and concentrates on stroke technique, stamina and style.
The children progress naturally through the course and each section is designated by the colours of the rainbow.
Nationally recognised badges are available at each level. For details, call the Rainbow Centre on (01642) 592800, the Neptune on (01642) 230106 and Acklam Sports Centre on (01642) 300458.
