A DILAPIDATED building on Richmond's Nun's Close car park seems likely to be bulldozed - although council chiefs have yet to decide what should go in its place.
The old Central Kitchens building, which is also the former Curtain Window premises, has been empty for some time and has been deemed to be beyond restoration.
Richmondshire District Council has already given its consent to demolition.
However, it promised to let neighbours know when the work was likely to begin and, as a result, the issue has been included on the agenda when the authority's economic, cultural and leisure committee meets in Hawes this evening.
Members will be asked to sanction the removal of the building.
They will then have to decide whether the council should sell the site, use it for another purpose or to create 12 extra parking spaces
