A POLICE officer appeared in court yesterday accused of a sex attack on a 17-year-old.
Metropolitan Police officer Paul Miller, 35, told the court he could not resist when the girl from Hong Kong propositioned him on a railway bridge.
He told the Old Bailey he agreed to have sex with her for £25 and she led him to nearby bushes, where he was arrested after residents heard the girl's screams.
"It was an extremely stupid thing to do," PC Miller told the jury.
PC Miller, who trained as an electrical fitter at Newcastle' College of Art and Technology after leaving South Shields Comprehensive School, had been drinking in Hendon, north London.
PC Miller denies attempted rape and indecent assault.
