THRILLED youngsters got to meet their popstar heroes moments before they took to the stage for a concert.
Sisters Jessica and Holli Tweddle, and their friend Laura Horner, from Shildon, went with their mothers to watch Hear'Say at Newcastle's Telewest Arena last week.
As they were going into the car park, two young men on scooters were waiting to get past when everyone in the car realised it was Danny and Noel from the group.
Jessica and Holli's mother, Diane, jumped out of the car and asked her daughters' heroes if they could have their photograph taken with them.
Mrs Tweddle, from Dale Road, said: "Holli and Laura were gobsmacked and could not get out of the car, but Jessica got in between them and had her picture taken.''
Holli and Laura, both 12, got the stars' autographs, while 11-year-old Laura was thrilled with the photograph.
Mrs Tweddle said: "They were a bit stunned when I asked them but then they were really good. The concert was brilliant. The kids loved it.'
