A FREE course offering an introduction to Christianity is being run in Darlington.
The Alpha course is being held at the Kings Church.
A programme about the Alpha course is currently being shown by ITV on Sunday nights and more than four million people have completed an Alpha course.
Kings Church has been running Alpha for several years.
One of its leaders, Clive Cernik, said: "It takes place in a relaxed, non-threatening, non-religious atmosphere.
"The evening is built around a good meal, an interesting talk and discussion in small groups.
"People feel able to say whatever they want and have some excellent times in the discussion groups."
If you would like to take part in Kings Church's next Alpha course, which will be held at the Ambassador suite at Darlington Football Club, telephone (01325) 286093.
An invitation has been delivered to every home in Darlington.
The course starts with the Alpha Supper tomorrow, at Feethams, at 7pm.
That will be followed by ten sessions on consecutive Thursday evenings. The course is free. Donations towards the meal are welcome.
