A GROUP of students have organised a book sale to raise money to help others.
Charity shops are being urged to support the event.
Members of Interact, the junior division of Rotary International, who study at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, Darlington, have arranged the event on October 6.
Jennie Kelly, president of the college's Interact club, said: "We are hoping to collect a lot of books from staff and students and are inviting the various charity shops in the town to come and sell their books.
"At present, the books are being stored in my dad's caravan, but we are running out of space."
The sale is being held in the gym at the back of the main college building, which can be entered via Vane Terrace, from 10am to 2pm
