STUDENTS and staff at Wolsingham School and Community College celebrated a successful year at a presentation evening last night.
Pupils achieved excellent examination results, produced a show, made several trips abroad and earned a national Sportsmark Award, despite a range of problems including the foot-and-mouth outbreak, flooding and the end of an extensive building programme at the college.
Headteacher Mitch O'Riley said: "Pupils and staff overcame many difficulties to contribute to another outstanding year.
"They produced excellent exam results, and the experiment to take GCSEs in year ten and AS-Levels in year 11 worked very well and will be repeated."
