SILVER anniversary celebrations are under way at a community centre in Grangetown.
When centre clerk Margaret Bell was given the key to the door of the centre, in Stapylton Street, 25 years ago there was no fuss or ceremony.
Now Margaret and the nine service users who have maintained links with the centre over the years are preparing for a lunch, with others, at the Marton Hotel and Country Club tomorrow.
In the evening, there will be a reunion of past staff and service users.
Councillor Vilma Collins, the mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, will join the celebrations
