TWO business clubs have raised £4,000 for charity at a gala dinner.
The Darlington and Tees Valley business clubs entertained more than 220 businesspeople at the annual event held at Croft Spa Hotel, near Darlington.
Guests were offered various ways to part with their money including the chance to win a car provided by PMB Motors and a charity auction with about 20 lots.
Hilary Dunne, marketing manager at Darlington Business Venture, said: "The event would not have been the success it was without the support of many local businesses which donated gifts or sponsored elements of the night."
Two charities will benefit from the event, Multiple Sclerosis in Darlington and the Teesside Children's Butterwick Hospice.
