Grosmont and Boosbeck United battled out a tough game, in which just one goal was scored. Both teams pressed forward but the defensive players from both sides played extremely well with only Lever managing to break through just after half-time to give Grosmont the slender lead which proved to be enough.
The Highland Laddie versus Redcar Mackinlay Park game started at a frantic pace with both teams looking for goals. Booth put Laddie into the lead after 10 minutes when he picked up the ball on the edge of the box and chipped it over the keeper from 20 yards.
Laddie then had a spell of sustained pressure and went further into the lead when Learman picked the ball up on the right, cut inside the Redcar defence and blasted the ball into the net from 15 yards.
Redcar had to endure an increased amount of pressure and Booth slotted home Laddies' third goal.
Redcar began the second half on fire and their efforts paid off when Ayres pulled a goal back. Five minutes later a cross into the box was hit home by Agar. For the next 20 minutes Laddie were under seige as Redcar looked for the equaliser. They weathered the storm and brought on substitute Bearpark, in the 80th minute and he put his name on the sheet three minutes later.
An in form Huntsman proved to be too strong for Hinderwel, finding themselves two goals up in the first four minutes.
Hinderwell came back for a while but failed to find the break and a penalty for Huntsman just after half time proved to be the end of the Hinderwell's resistance and a further two goals gave Huntsman the points.
Lealholm put up a good fight against defending champions Grangetown. The first half remained goalless despite Lealholm having the best chances with a series of long range shots which failed to find the target. Grangetown were awarded a penalty which was well saved by Gibson, his second penalty save in two weeks. Grangetown went into the lead when a well taken corner by Cochrane was headed into the net by Skelton. Three minutes later a close range shot from Cairns put Grangetown further ahead and they held on to take the three points.
Lingdale United began well in their match against Boosbeck Athletic. Lingdale took the lead after 15 minutes when a fine cross found Boyes, who headed home from three yards.Lingdale then let Boosbeck through and five minutes later Winter headed home the equaliser. Whitehead then chipped the keeper twice to give Lingdale a comfortable 3-1 lead at the break. 15 minutes into the second half Whitehead completed a fine hat-trick when Boyes and Cattermole split the Boosbeck defence to allow Whitehead to tap the ball into the net. Youngster Liam Watson was brought on as sub in the 75th minute and after just five minutes got his name on the score sheet following a defensive mix up. Lingdale dominated the rest of the game until five minutes from time Boosbeck were awarded a penalty. Hill made no mistake from the spot to give Boosbeck a consolation goal.
Staithes had a convincing victory over Anchor Inn taking a two goal lead in the first half before adding three more.
A close fought first half saw the honours even at Whitby but Great Ayton went on to win 3-2.
